It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the Creative Arts Department at Bunyore Teachers Training College. As the Head of Department, I am delighted to lead a talented and passionate team of tutors who are committed to nurturing creativity, expression, and innovation through Art and Craft, Music, Drama, and Dance.

Creative Arts play a vital role in holistic education. They help learners express themselves, appreciate cultural diversity, and develop critical 21st-century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and emotional intelligence. Our department is focused on equipping trainee teachers with the pedagogical skills and artistic confidence to inspire and guide learners within the framework of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

Through practical sessions, performances, exhibitions, and integrated learning, we provide an environment where talent is discovered, nurtured, and celebrated. We believe that every teacher has the power to unlock creativity in learners — and that every child deserves the opportunity to explore and express their artistic potential.
